The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Chapter have urged President Muhammadu Buhari against further borrowing of loans from foreign agencies, in order to save the future of the Nation.

The union revealed this in a statement issued at the end of its September congress, cautioning Buhari to desist from this unbecoming culture, which may affect the country in the future.
The statement partly reads: “The union also noted with dismay the continuous borrowing culture of Mr. President, Muhammed Buhari.”
“The union, therefore, cautioned the President to desist from this unbecoming culture, which may affect the country in future.”
Recall that Buhari had last week written to the National Assembly to approve another $4 billion and €710 million external loans.
