Six new airlines to take off this year in Nigeria

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, says six new airlines will join the list of operators in the country, 3 of which will begin operations this year
NCAA director general Musa Nuhu in an interview with journalists in Abuja, called on key players in the sector to work together to design strategies geared towards best practices to speedily develop aviation in Nigeria to meet global best practices.

Nuhu promised the NCAA will safeguard skilled manpower in the aviation industry to boost confidence and ensure safety in the skies.

He said as a regulatory body, NCAA will improve on infrastructural development at the airports including installation of navigational facilities, particularly the weather forecast equipment to further enhance aviation safety.
