The Ogun State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially reinstated Otunba Dr. Femi Soluade as its State Chairman.

In a press statement issued on Monday, February 16, 2026, the party declared: “The Ogun State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) hereby announces the reinstatement of Otunba Dr. Femi Soluade as the State Chairman of the party in Ogun State.”

The decision followed what the party described as a “well-attended peace accord meeting held in Abeokuta, where leaders and critical stakeholders of the party engaged in extensive deliberations aimed at strengthening unity, restoring confidence, and consolidating the party’s structure across the state.”

According to the statement, “After thorough discussions and mutual resolutions reached in the spirit of reconciliation and collective progress, the State Executive Committee resolved to reinstate Otunba Dr. Femi Soluade as the duly recognized State Chairman of the party.”

The ADC emphasized its renewed unity and readiness for the upcoming elections: “The Ogun State ADC remains united, indivisible, and focused on its mission of providing credible leadership and good governance to the people of Ogun State. We emphasize that the party is now stronger, more cohesive, and strategically positioned to win the forthcoming elections in Ogun State.”

Calling for reconciliation among members, the party urged: “We call on all members, stakeholders, and supporters to put past misunderstandings behind us and work collectively towards building a formidable and victorious party structure across all local governments and wards.”
