Bulletproof Charm test: Edo “Native Doctor” Arrested for Shooting Client to Death

19-year-old Timothy Dauda, has been arrested by the Police for claiming to possess “native doctor” abilities, after shooting his client to death while testing a bulletproof charm in Edo State.

According to report, Dauda was hired to provide a bulletproof charm and was testing its efficacy on the client, Alex Ezekiel, when the incident occurred at Onumu Community, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the State Police Command, SP Moses Joel Yamu, stated that Dauda specializes in preparing charms against guns and cutlasses.

“The victim, Alex Ezekiel, approached the suspect and requested the bulletproof charm. After preparing the charms, the native doctor tried to test the efficacy of the charm by shooting the deceased with a gun,” Yamu explained.

“Unfortunately, the deceased sustained fatal injuries, was rushed to Ifejola Hospital, Igarra, where he was certified dead by a medical doctor.”

Yamu added that Dauda would face prosecution once the investigation is concluded.

“The suspect will face prosecution as soon as the investigation is concluded,” Yamu said.
