Mrs. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo

Mrs. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, a Nigerian-born Engineer residing in the UK, has highlighted the necessity for better welfare measures for workers both in Ogun State and across the nation.

On the occasion of Workers’ Day, observed worldwide on May 1st, 2024, she delivered a message of support to the workers of Ogun State, emphasizing the significance of equitable pay and enhanced welfare to boost employee productivity.

Agemo-Okuboyejo pointed out the crucial importance of treating workers with respect and ensuring their welfare, noting their central role in fostering societal advancement and growth.

She called for improved welfare benefits and living standards for workers nationwide, recognizing their essential role in propelling societal progress.

“Workers are the cornerstone of progress and development, and they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. As such, enhancing their welfare benefits and living conditions throughout the nation is imperative,” she declared.

As the initiator of the Temitayo-Agemo-Okuboyejo Renaissance Project, a foundation committed to community service, Mrs. Agemo-Okuboyejo personifies her deep conviction in the transformative impact of education to enlighten minds, empower individuals, and nurture the development of human capabilities.
