Yaba College of Technology Sports Centre came alive with the spirit of resilience and inclusion as the Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind (FNSB) hosted the 27th Annual Sports Day of the Blind. Proudly sponsored by the Daramola Dynasty Foundation, the event was a dynamic showcase of ability, determination, and the power of inclusivity in sports.
Under the inspiring theme “Champions of Inclusion,” the event united enthusiastic participants, lively spectators, and dedicated advocates of sports equality. From the precision of the March Past and the strength displayed in Tug of War to the electrifying intensity of Track Races, the day was a remarkable showcase of the talent, determination, and unwavering team spirit of the FNSB athletes.
Another highlight of the day was the football match between the Daramola Football Academy players; young talents who journeyed from Isara Remo, Ogun State, to be part of this inclusive experience. Their impressive performance on the field earned enthusiastic cheers and ended in a thrilling draw, proving that passion and skill know no boundaries.
Founder of the Daramola Dynasty Foundation, Engr. Olanrewaju Daramola, was present to lend his voice and support to the initiative. He encouraged the players and reaffirmed the Foundation’s dedication to building inclusive spaces through sport, opportunity, and mentorship.
“This goes beyond the sporting activities,” Engr. Daramola remarked. “It’s about community, visibility, and the power of believing in every individual’s potential.”
As always, the Daramola Dynasty Foundation remains committed to its mission, championing inclusion, encouraging participation, and inspiring progress beyond physical limitations.
