The Association of APC Songwriters, Jigawa State Chapter, under the leadership of its State Chairman, Alh. Lawan Gujungu, paid a Sallah (Eid-El-Kabeer) courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence of Nigeria, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, at his residence in Kano on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
The association, established during the period of political alliance and mobilization that led to the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015, is renowned for composing and publishing songs that highlight the policies, programs, and achievements of APC-led administrations, as well as other officeholders of the party at various levels nationwide, from its inception to date.
During the visit, the association offered prayers and heartfelt well-wishes to the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, praying that Allah grants him the strength and wisdom to effectively carry out his duties—particularly in addressing the critical security challenges facing Nigeria.
