In a significant move towards community development, Dr. Adeola Odedina, the former Commissioner for Agriculture in Ogun State, has commissioned a newly constructed roundabout in Oluwatedo Kolonbo, located in Obafemi Owode local government area of Ogun State.

During the commissioning on Saturday, Dr. Odedina, represented by his media aide Babalola Gafar, expressed gratitude to the youths in the community and the Baale’s team for their unwavering dedication.

Dr. Odedina emphasized the crucial role played by community members in constructing the project.

He urged the local youth to continue serving as catalysts for development within their community.

Dr. Odedina called on the youth to eschew violence and embrace peace, emphasizing that it is crucial for the overall economic development and progress of the country.

” Young people should be an agent of development and not destruction. They should contribute to the development of the country because they’re the leaders of tomorrow”.

In his remarks, the Baale of the community Alhaji Nofiu Okesooto, extended heartfelt appreciation for a transformative community project.

He lauded the unwavering support received from the former commissioner of agriculture in Ogun State, acknowledging the pivotal role played in the community’s development.

Encouraging a spirit of philanthropy, Chief Nofiu urged benefactors to rally behind communities, emphasizing the catalytic role such support can play in fostering development.

” The youths should prioritize community development, and they should also channel their energy towards the betterment of the community and the nation.”

The youth leader of the community Fatai Okuneye, expressed profound gratitude to the former commissioner for agriculture, citing his instrumental support throughout the project.

According to him ” Dr. Odedina, during his tenure, played a crucial role in facilitating the construction of four vital bridges in the community” he said.
