The Federal Commissioner representing Ogun State at The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. Akeem Amosun, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithfuls across Ogun State and Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, popularly known as Eid Kabir.
In a statement released on Friday, Hon. Amosun emphasized the importance of the sacred celebration, highlighting its message of sacrifice, unity, and unwavering faith. “Eid Kabir is a profound reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to Allah’s will. As we mark this occasion, I encourage everyone to embrace its essence in our daily lives,” he stated.
Hon. Amosun urged Muslims to use the festive period as an opportunity for reflection and prayer, stressing the need for unity and love among Nigerians. “Now more than ever, we must stand together as one people, bound by faith, love, and the collective desire for progress. Let this Eid be a time of renewed hope for a greater Ogun State and a prosperous Nigeria,” he remarked.
Recognizing the resilience of the people, he praised their commitment to nation-building and encouraged continued faith in the country’s growth. “Despite challenges, our strength as people remains unshaken. I urge everyone to remain steadfast, embrace hard work, and support efforts that will lead to sustainable development,” Hon. Amosun affirmed.

He also called upon pilgrims performing the sacred Arafat rites to pray for peace and prosperity. “As our brothers and sisters stand on the plains of Arafat, I implore them to remember Nigeria in their prayers—seeking Allah’s grace for security, stability, and economic advancement,” he appealed.
Hon. Amosun further emphasized the importance of generosity and kindness, encouraging citizens to care for those in need. “Eid-al-Adha teaches us the beauty of giving. No act of kindness is too small, and no gesture of love is ever wasted. Let’s extend a hand to the less privileged and make this celebration meaningful for everyone,” he urged.
Looking ahead, he expressed optimism about the future, reaffirming his commitment to service. “With dedication, unity, and Allah’s guidance, I am confident that Ogun State and Nigeria will continue to thrive. May this Eid bring peace, joy, and endless blessings to us all,” he concluded.
Hon. Amosun wishes all Muslim faithfuls a joyous Eid Kabir filled with divine blessings, happiness, and fulfillment.
