

Christians has been urged to keep on shining as the light of the world, as doing this would also bring tremendous changes across the world, which would make the people to be delivered.
Making this known, The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN) Obantoko Area Superintendent, Pastor Sams Olubiyi, during the Area Inaugural Women Movement Convention, held at the Area Headquarters, on Sunday.
Pastor Olubiyi, while speaking on the address titled; “I Am Light Of The World”, emphasized on purpose of being the light of the world and also the dangers of not being the light of the world.
The Inaugural Area Women Movement Convention, which is a 3-day programme, has since commenced on Friday and it will be coming to an end, today.



While speaking on Christians as light of the world, Pastor Olubiyi, said, “It is not about showing our physical appearances, but revealing Christ in us, as an identity and separated vessel of the Lord”.
“Christians also need to have positive impact and influence on those around them, as our lives should reflect God’s glory and light likewise.
“Also, as Christians we are to share God’s glory and light of Salvation to others and we are also supposed to demonstrate the light of God through our actions, words, deeds, characters and dressing”, He said.
Speaking on dangers of refusing to be the light of the world, Pastor Olubiyi, warned Christians that there are dangers waiting for such believer not shining as the light of the world.
He said, “There will be everlasting punishment here on earth and even beyond, hell fire, spiritual darkness, condemnation, loss of relationship with God, moral depravity,
“Loss of peace and joy, enmity with God and being led astray by the devil”.
On the rewards of being the light of the world, Pastor Olubiyi enjoined christians to be ready to be the light of the world, and have the following rewards.
“Spiritual growth in the Lord, having a spiritual, positive and physical impact on others, hereby bringing hope and light to others, having eternal rewards, enjoyment of the presence of God in our everyday life and activities,
“We would overcome the spirit of fear and one would receive all heavenly crowns, that as been assigned for us”.
However, Pastor Olubiyi, urged believers to shine as the light of the world, as we are the ones they are waiting for, and it is when our light shine amidst the world, that they will surely be delivered.

Meanwhile, the Area Women Movement also in their appreciation towards God, bought a cooking utensil, which was blessed by Pastor Olubiyi, and prayers were rendered for the Women’s Area Movement and the church at large.
