New Provost pledges full commitment to the Seminary

New Provost of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN) Theological Seminary, Ilesa, Osun State, Pastor James Adeyanju, PhD, has pledged not to disappoint the entire seminary community during his tenure as the Provost.

Adding that, during his tenure he will be committed to the growth and development of the Seminary and of progress of the students at large.

Pastor Adeyanju, made this declaration during the Thanksgiving Service held at the Chapel of Excellence, on Friday.

Meanwhile, he was the former Provost at the Theological Seminary at Jos, Plateau State.

While giving his words of admonition, the new Provost also appreciated the endeavours of former Seminary leaders for their impact and commitment towards the development of the Seminary.

According to him, “As a former student in this Seminary about 34 years ago, I salute the courage of other people who have lead the this Seminary and those who are supposed to be here, but due to one reason or the other could not be here.

“I also commended the students of the Seminary as you are the future of tomorrow,” he added.

However, the former Provost of the Seminary, Pastor Gabriel Alakuko has been transferred to another Area in Ogun State.

In addition, the Deputy Provost, Pastor Nicholas Whesin, also announced the official introduction of new Area Superintendents, and the Seminary will also be part of it on Sunday.

He, however urged entire Seminary Community and students to be prepared for the official introduction on Sunday.

Meanwhile, students, teaching and non-teaching staffs were all engulfed in the mood of thanksgiving as to appreciate the Almighty God for His great protection over the entire Community.
