No PDP Congress in Ogun – INEC affirms

The Independent National Electoral Commission, Ogun State on Tuesday, 10th March, 2020 confirmed that there was no PDP Congress in Ogun State.
Ogun State INEC through a letter signed by the Head of Election and Party Monitoring Department, Abayomi Onisarotu stated clearly that there was no election at the ward level across the state following an order of Court compelling all parties in the matter before the court  to suspend all actions relating to the congress. 
The letter which was addressed  to the INEC National Secretary read in part “Further to the Notification Letter from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the conduct of its congresses and subsequent court order  restraining concerned parties from taking any action. I write to confirm that the scheduled ward congresses for Saturday, 7″ March 2020 did not hold in Ogun State, strictly complying to the said court order”.
