The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Hon. Bukola Olopade has appointed renowned sports journalist and media strategist Bayo Adegboyega as Consultant on Media.
The appointment is part of the Commission’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its communication strategy, enhance public engagement, and promote the activities and achievements of the NSC across various media platforms.
Bayo Adegboyega, who began his journey in sports journalism as a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in 2012, has amassed over 14 years of experience in sports reporting, broadcasting, content development, public relations, and strategic communications.
Over the years, he has built a reputation for insightful sports journalism and has contributed significantly to the promotion of sports development initiatives in Nigeria.
Speaking on the appointment, Hon. Olopade expressed confidence in Bayo Adegboyega’s ability to contribute meaningfully to the Commission’s vision of repositioning Nigerian sports through effective communication and media engagement.
According to the Director General, the appointment reflects the NSC’s commitment to working with professionals who possess the experience, creativity, and passion required to project the Commission’s programmes and the achievements of Nigerian athletes to local and international audiences.
