ABEOKUTA—The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, has extended warm felicitations to His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, on the occasion of his 65th birthday and the 6th anniversary of his administration.
In a statement signed by Ogun NUJ Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, and Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the council lauded Governor Abiodun’s transformative leadership, describing his tenure as one marked by “significant advancements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development.”
“The NUJ recognizes and appreciates the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of Ogun State residents. His policies have continued to foster a conducive environment for investment and growth,” the statement read.
The council also commended Governor Abiodun’s close relationship with the media, stating, “His collaborative spirit with journalists has strengthened transparent governance and enhanced community engagement.”
“As we honor this momentous occasion, we extend heartfelt wishes to His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON, for continued health, wisdom, and success in his endeavors. We look forward to witnessing more progress and development under his leadership in the years ahead,” the NUJ added.
The Ogun NUJ, in its message, celebrated the governor as “a leader whose vision and policies have greatly improved the lives of our people.”
