ABEOKUTA, Nigeria — The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has officially presented its Certificate of Return to Olufunbi Olufemi Majekodunmi, confirming him as the party’s candidate for the Abeokuta South Constituency I seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly.
The presentation ceremony took place at the Ogun State PDP Secretariat in Abeokuta, attended by party officials, stakeholders, and supporters.
The issuance of the certificate serves as the party’s official administrative validation of Majekodunmi’s candidacy following the conclusion of its internal primary processes. The document formally clears the candidate to represent the party in the upcoming legislative election.
In a signed statement, Majekodunmi, campaigning under the “Onatuntun 2027” banner, acknowledged the receipt of the document from the party leadership and expressed readiness for the upcoming general campaign.
With the formal documentation completed, the PDP campaign organization for Abeokuta South Constituency I is expected to deploy its grassroots mobilization strategy across the constituency’s wards.
