

Abeokuta, Ogun State – At the 11th Triennial National Conference of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, represented by the Deputy Governor of Ogun State Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele FNSE emphasized the critical role of Muslims in fostering national unity and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria’s pluralistic society.
The conference, themed “Islam and Muslims: Responsibilities and Relevance in a Pluralistic World,” was held at the Abeokuta Sports Club’s Legacy Hall on Friday, April 18th, 2025.
In his address, President Tinubu highlighted the society’s century-long commitment to Islamic education and community development. He urged conference participants to be “ambassadors of justice, compassion, and peaceful coexistence” while engaging constructively with broader societal challenges.

The President also outlined his administration’s commitment to building an inclusive Nigeria, focusing on economic revival, poverty alleviation, and institutional confidence restoration.
The conference brought together prominent Islamic scholars, royal fathers, executive members of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria providing a platform for discussing Muslims’ roles in addressing contemporary social, economic, and educational challenges.
President Tinubu also declared the 11th Triennial Conference Gateway 2025 opened.
