The Ogun State Chairman of the National Rescue Mission (NRM), Hon. Olujobi Fayoyin, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Ogun State as they commence the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta, Hon. Fayoyin described Ramadan as a sacred period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, sacrifice, and deep reflection. He urged the Muslim Ummah to seize the opportunity of the fasting period to offer fervent prayers for the peace, unity, and sustainable development of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

“Ramadan is not only a time of fasting but also a season of compassion, forgiveness, and devotion to Almighty Allah. As our Muslim brothers and sisters begin this holy month, I call on them to pray for enduring peace in our dear state and for the steady progress of our communities,” Fayoyin stated.

The NRM Chairman emphasized that Ogun State stands at a critical stage in its socio-political development, noting that collective prayers and responsible citizenship remain vital ingredients for growth and stability. He encouraged residents to continue to uphold values of tolerance, love, and peaceful coexistence throughout the Ramadan period and beyond.

Hon. Fayoyin also used the occasion to rally members and supporters of the party across the state, urging them to remain steadfast and hopeful despite prevailing challenges.

“We must keep hope alive. Better days are ahead for Ogun State. As a party committed to genuine rescue and purposeful leadership, the National Rescue Mission remains dedicated to providing credible alternatives that will uplift our people and reposition the state for greater prosperity,” he added.

He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful, rewarding, and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, praying that their sacrifices and supplications would be accepted and that the blessings of the holy month would bring renewed hope and transformation to Ogun State.
