Sayedero Mini Tippers Drivers and Owners Association Elects Sikiru Adebari Adegbola as National President

Sayedero Mini Tippers Drivers and Owners Association following a keenly contested election at Owode Yewa in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, where the initiative started. The election, which was witnessed by the Tipper/Lorries Drivers Association of Nigeria Owode Yewa Branch Vice President Alhaji Shakirulai Abololore, saw delegates from different zones casting their votes for their preferred candidate.
The election was between Mr Fatai Alabi Aromire and Mr Sikiru Adebari Adegbola. Security officers were on ground to provide maximum security, and the election was adjudged fair and free by both contestants who agreed to work with whosoever emerges as the winner.
A total of four zones participated in the election, namely Owode Zone, Okeore Zone, Atan Zone, and Oja Oda Zone. There were 118 registered voters, with 109 accredited voters and 9 absentees.


Mr Fatai Alabi Aromire got 36 votes, while Mr Sikiru Adebari Adegbola emerged as the winner with 72 votes. There was only one void vote. The victory of Mr Adegbola was greeted with jubilation and congratulatory messages from friends, colleagues, and supporters who were present at the venue of the election.
In his acceptance speech, Mr Adegbola thanked the delegates for their support, promising to work tirelessly to ensure the growth and development of the Association. He acknowledged the efforts of Mr Aromire, stating that they both shared the same goals and would continue to work together to achieve them.
Mr Adegbola also assured members of the Association that he would prioritize their welfare and work towards improving their standards of living. He thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the election, including the security officers who ensured maximum security at the venue.
The Sayedero of Medium Tipper Drivers and Owners Association is an important body that represents the interests of medium tipper drivers and owners across Nigeria. With the emergence of Mr. Sikiru Adebari Adegbola as the National President, the Association is set to achieve greater heights and make significant contributions to the development of the country’s economy.
