Sharon Ooja Egwurube, the talented Nigerian actress, has captured hearts with her performances. Born on April 6 in Kaduna, she later moved to Lagos in 2013 to pursue her acting dreams. Let’s delve into her fascinating journey:

  • Education: Sharon attended Kings and Queens School in Jos for her primary education. For secondary school, she enrolled in two all-girls boarding schools: Regina Pacis Secondary School in Garki II, Abuja, and St. Louis Girls’ College in Jos.
  • Acting Breakthrough: Her acting journey took an unexpected turn during a photo session for a store. NdaniTV covered the behind-the-scenes activities, and the following week, Sharon received an interview invitation for a television show (which didn’t materialize). Soon after, she landed a small role in the television series “Gidi Up,” marking the beginning of her movie career. She also gained fame as Shalewa in the web series “Skinny Girl in Transit.”
  • Academic Background: Sharon holds a degree in mass communication from Houdegbe North American University Benin.
  • Recent Happenings: In March 2024, Sharon announced her private civil wedding ceremony to her husband, whom she affectionately calls “odogwu silencer.” Her star continues to rise, and she was selected by Netflix to represent Nigeria in the program titled “The Bridgerton Affair” in South Africa.

Sharon Ooja Egwurube’s journey from Kaduna to the limelight is an inspiring tale of talent, determination, and grace.
