As Muslims across Nigeria and around the world commence the holy month of Ramadan tomorrow, a stalwart of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Toyin Amuzu (TA), has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithfuls in Abeokuta South, Ogun State and beyond.
In a goodwill message released ahead of the sacred month, Chief Amuzu described Ramadan as a season of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.
He called on Muslims to use the 30-day fasting period as an opportunity to strengthen their faith, seek forgiveness and offer fervent prayers for peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria.
According to him, Ramadan represents not only a time of abstinence from food and drink from dawn to dusk, but also a period of moral purification, compassion for the less privileged and commitment to righteous living.

Chief Amuzu who is the Asiwaju-Leragun Egba, prayed that Allah grants all Muslim faithfuls the strength, endurance and unwavering devotion required to observe the fast with sincerity and righteousness.
He further expressed hope that the holy month would usher in renewed hope and greater harmony within communities.
“May your prayers be answered and may you experience a deeper connection with the Almighty during this sacred period,” he stated.
He concluded his message with a heartfelt “Ramadan Kareem” to all Muslims, praying that Allah blesses and rewards them abundantly.
Ramadan is one of the most significant months in the Islamic calendar, marked by fasting, prayer, charity and acts of kindness.
