Olalekan Efficient, a highly acclaimed on-air personality and broadcaster, has recently been appointed as the Head of Programmes for Tungba FM in Lagos and Osun. The announcement was made by the Chairman of Tungba Communication Ltd, Prince Gbolahan Odo, on Tuesday in Lagos.
Olalekan Efficient, also known as Oladigbo Oluwasogo Olalekan, graduated from Osun State Polytechnic in 2010 and is an active member of the Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ). Prior to joining Tungba FM Lagos in 2020, he worked as a freelance presenter with several radio stations including Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, TopRadio90.9FM, Sweet107.9FM Abeokuta and Root97.1FM Abeokuta.
Furthermore, Olalekan Efficient won the Best Male Presenter award at the Sokoto State NYSC Orientation Broadcasting Service in 2011, and since joining Tungba FM Lagos, he has launched some successful programs such as Politics Naija.
With his promotion, the former Senior Political Correspondent will oversee the programs of both Tungba100.9FM Lagos and Tungba 90.3FM Igbajo.
