The National Rescue Movement governorship candidate in Ogun State, Hon. Olujobi Fayoyin, has welcomed the emergence of Dr. Esther Nkem Okereke as the party’s consensus presidential candidate for the 2027 general election, pledging the full support of the party in Ogun State toward her victory at the polls.
Fayoyin described Okereke’s emergence as a reflection of the party’s commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and inclusiveness, commending the leadership of the NRM for conducting what he termed a credible and democratic selection process.
He expressed confidence in Okereke’s leadership qualities, competence, and vision to reposition Nigeria, noting that her candidacy represents a strong alternative capable of displacing the ruling All Progressives Congress from power.
According to him, Nigerians are yearning for purposeful leadership, and the NRM is prepared to provide credible governance that will restore hope and development across the country.

Fayoyin further assured party members and supporters that the Ogun State chapter of the NRM would mobilise massively to ensure Okereke emerges victorious in the forthcoming presidential election.
