ACCORD has launched its Digital E-Registration Portal for both existing and prospective members, marking a major milestone in the enhancement of its internal structure in compliance with the newly signed 2026 Electoral Act.
The exercise, which started on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, will hopefully end on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The move has been described as a strategic step aimed at improving the structure and inclusiveness of all its members at all levels.
In this regard, Ogun State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Oke Rotimi Michael, explained that the digital E-registration portal aims to ensure easy and seamless membership registration, eliminating all forms of inconsistencies in membership information and improving coordination among all its members.
He added that the exercise will give both old and new members an opportunity to formally register with the updated and verified membership information system.

To foster massive grassroots mobilisation and participation, the party in Ogun State has put in place incentives for service, aimed at honouring and appreciating outstanding contributions during the registration exercise.
In the Individual Category, party members who have successfully registered a large number of new members, with photocard evidence, are set to receive incentives for service in appreciation of their dedication towards increasing the party membership base.
In the Local Government Category, the top three local governments with the highest number of registered party members during the registration exercise are set to receive incentives for service. This is aimed at promoting healthy competition, leadership, and participation at the grassroots.
Likewise, in the Ward Category, the three wards with the highest registration figures in Ogun State are set to receive incentives for service, further underlining the significance of organisation, dedication, and teamwork at the foundation of the party.
Hon. Oke Rotimi emphasised that, aside from the recognition and incentives, this digital registration drive is also a sign of a larger movement toward unity, growth, and strategic electoral readiness.
Party members in Ogun State are encouraged to make the most of this opportunity and take an active role in building a more robust and unified political platform. Hon. Oke again emphasised that the terms and conditions for the incentives are made available to only party members in Ogun State, thus promoting a fair and transparent process.
The process is seen as a progressive and modern move, indicative of the party’s willingness to adjust to the changing realities in democracy while utilising technology and active engagement to empower their membership.
Again, Hon. Oke Rotimi, in explaining this process, said, “It is not just registering; we have our guiding philosophy, and our guiding philosophy is, and remains, ‘Together, we build. Together, we win.'”
