ACOMORAN, RTEAN Donate Trophy, Medals For ValueJet SWAN Security Cup Final

The Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle, Tricycle Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), have supported the 4th edition of ValueJet/SWAN Security cup final with trophy and medals.

The ACOMORAN Chairman in Ogun State, Chief Kayode Sowunmi and the RTEAN Secretary, Comrade Tiwalade Akingbade announced the donation in Abeokuta while receiving the Executive members of SWAN, led by its chairman, Comrade Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji.

The duo while congratulating the Association for the success of the 4th edition of the competition which ends on Monday 26th August 2024, reminded the need to sustain the competition towards cementing the already established relationship among various security agencies in the state.

Both Chief Sowunmi and Comrade Akingbade gave the assurance that their unions would continue to support SWAN in Ogun State in the development and promotion of sports in the state.

They commended governor Dapo Abiodun for creating a conductive atmosphere for the growth of sports in the state.

Earlier, SWAN Chairman, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji had appreciated the leadership of the Unions for their continued support to the association, even within the shortest notice.

He said SWAN would continue to partner the unions and relevant stakeholders in the state to develop sports and complement the effort of the Ogun State Government.

In the final match schedule for today, Nigeria Customs Service will battle Nigeria Police Force for the gold medals while EFCC will face NSCDC in the 3rd place final.

The closing ceremony will kick-off 1pm at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
