Adebutu, Adekoya Agree To Work For The Success Of PDP As Bayo Dayo Unites Party Leadership

In furtherance to his efforts at repositioning Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to its winning ways, Engr. Bayo Dayo, the immediate past Chairman of the party in Ogun State brokered a reconciliation meeting  between Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu and Aremo Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid
 (Attacker).
Hon Adebutu was the Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development, Federal House of Representatives at the 8th National Assembly while Hon Adekoya Adesegun Abdel-Majid is currently the Deputy Minority  Chief Whip of the Federal House of Representatives.
The fruitful meeting that took place on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the Ijebu Igbo residence of Engr Bayo Dayo where the two party stalwarts agreed to work together for the common goal of enthroning a PDP led government in Ogun State come 2023. The successful meeting was attended by other leaders of the party which included Hon. Daisi Akiitan, the PDP Southwest Secretary, Omoba Sunday Solarin, PDP State Secretary, Arch Kayode Adebayo, Senatorial Chairman for Ogun East, Barr Bola Kalejaiye, a former Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Mogaji Dele Ajayi and the Olorituns from Ijebu Igbo.
Engr Dayo admonished both factions to harmonise every programme of the party and ensure fair and just relationship that will lead the party to victory. 
Hon Adebutu, in his remark, pleaded with party leaders to always embrace unity and be committed to working for the success of the party in 2023 while Hon Adekoya expressed his willingness to join hands with Adebutu in working for the oneness and victory of PDP as a party in Ogun State.
