Ambassador Awosusi Tolulope Rebecca, popularly known as TShakky, was on Sunday October 26, 2025 honoured with the award for Outstanding Iconic Makeover Artist of the Year at the 2025 edition of the ACE Awards held at Watercress Event Centre, Ikeja Lagos. The recognition celebrates her exceptional contributions to the beauty industry and her role in empowering aspiring makeup artists across West Africa.
Tolulope, founder of the globally recognized beauty brand TShakky Beauty Palace has built a reputation for creative excellence, affordability, and mentorship. Speaking after receiving the award, she expressed gratitude and reaffirmed her commitment to the industry.
During her acceptance speech, she emotionally stated: “This award is not just for me, but for all the TShakky’s family all over the world.
“This award means a lot to me,” she said. “It’s a reminder that passion, consistency, and a heart for community truly make a difference. I started with nothing but a dream and a few makeup kits, and today, we’re building futures through beauty.”
Her journey began in Lagos, where she sold makeup products as a student and taught herself the craft through online tutorials and practice. Over the years, T-Shakky has grown to offer makeup services, products, and professional training, with clientele spanning Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The ACE Awards recognition adds to a growing list of accolades, including the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity (2024), Entrepreneur Motivation Award (2025), and the Southern Youth Assembly of Nigeria’s Icon of Societal Transformation honor (2025).
The ACE Awards ceremony commended leaders across various sectors, with Tolulope’s win standing out as a celebration of creativity, resilience, and impact in the beauty industry.
