May 22, 2025, Lagos: IHS Nigeria, part of the IHS Holding Limited (NYSE: IHS) (“IHS Towers”) group, one of the largest independent owners, operators, and developers of shared communications infrastructure in the world by tower count, has announced a strategic partnership with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (“NSCDC”) to enhance the protection of critical telecommunications infrastructure across Nigeria. Ogun State government, on Tuesday, assured athletes participating in the National Sports Festival holding in Abeokuta, as well as the residents of the state, of their safety, following a diesel tanker explosion near Alake’s Sports Complex, one of the facilities used for the ongoing Sports Festival.
