Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has presented a total of N1,054,542,020,147.47 to the State House of Assembly as the State’s proposed budget for 2025. Speaking at the Assembly’s Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun said the budget, tagged “Budget of Hope and Prosperity,” is made up of N453.56 billion as recurrent expenditure and N600.98 billion as capital expenditures. The Governing Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta has appointed Mr. Faremi Amos Abiodun, a retired Superintendent of Police, as the new Chief Security Officer for the Polytechnic. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has urged bank customers to promptly report any challenges encountered when withdrawing cash from bank branches or ATMs starting December 1, 2024. Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has been arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Maitama, Abuja, over allegations of fraud amounting to N80.2 billion.
