The Osun State High Court in Ilesa, has issued an injunction restraining the State Government from proceeding with the process to fill the vacant stool of the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, when it was presided over by Hon. Nigerians were on Wednesday plunged into darkness following another collapse of the national power grid. Reports had it that the grid has collapsed 11 times, from January 2024 till November. Within one week in October, the grid collapsed three times with its attendant blackouts, sparking reactions from Nigerians. The Federal Capital Territory High Court, on Tuesday, denied a bail application filed by former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, stating that the application was submitted prematurely.
