In what many are describing as a blatant act of political vendetta, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has ordered the sealing of properties belonging to his predecessor and political heavyweight, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD).
On Monday, officials from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority stormed Sagamu, delivering and pasting official “Notice of Seal/Stop Work Orders” on Daniel’s private residence and one of his hotels, Adeola Court.
This move comes despite mounting public outcry and growing tensions across Ogun State, with many accusing the governor of using state machinery to target political rivals.
