In a statement issued through his Media Officer, Edoko Wilson Edoko, on Wednesday, Enabulele highlighted Governor Okpebholo’s unwavering commitment and support to Edo Queens Football Club, describing it as a testament to his passion for advancing female sports development in Nigeria.
“We are proud of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s significant contribution to the Super Falcons’ progress in WAFCON, especially through the support of Miracle Usani of Edo Queens,” Enabulele stated.
He remarked that the remarkable results so far reflect the governor’s impactful investment in sports. “Within just nine months in office, Governor Okpebholo’s dedication to Edo Queens FC has yielded positive results,” he said.

Enabulele expressed optimism that Miracle Usani’s inclusion in the current Super Falcons squad would inspire other Edo Queens FC players to excel in the upcoming season and attract more national team call-ups.

He also commended the Super Falcons for their impressive performance. “We are very proud of our tactical Nigerian female squad. Since the group stages, they’ve displayed excellent football, exemplified by their 5-0 victory over Zambia’s Copper Queens,” Enabulele noted.
He concluded by urging the team to remain focused and disciplined as Nigeria prepares to face Morocco in the finals, aiming to clinch their 10th title and bring the trophy home. “While we celebrate our progress so far, we must stay disciplined, focused, and resilient to achieve our ultimate goal,” Enabulele stated.
