Abeokuta, Ogun State — August 9, 2025
The Youth League of the United Spiritual Church (USC) has officially announced the commencement of its annual Youth Week celebration, slated to run from Wednesday, September 3rd to Sunday, September 7th, 2025. This year’s theme, “Strong Tower”, drawn from Proverbs 18:10 — “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe” — sets the tone for a spiritually charged and socially impactful week aimed at empowering young people across the region.
The announcement was made by Brother Samuel Akinsanya, the Public Relations Officer of the Youth League, who described the event as “a sacred convergence of faith, creativity, and community.” According to Akinsanya, the Youth Week is not merely a tradition but a transformative experience designed to ignite purpose, deepen spiritual roots, and foster unity among the youth.
“This year’s theme, Strong Tower, is a call to refuge and resilience,” Akinsanya stated. “In a world filled with uncertainty, we want our youth to know that they have a place of safety and strength in God. Every activity this week is crafted to reflect that truth.”
