Though yet to officially declare his intention to run for political office in Etsako Central Constituency, Hon. Augustine Enamegbai Umogbai has already become a figure of growing interest.
His calm demeanor, strong academic background, and devotion to community development have drawn admiration across Edo State. Known for his humility, faith, and consistent service, Umogbai represents a refreshing model of leadership at a time when integrity and people-oriented values are highly sought after.
Education has been the cornerstone of Hon. Umogbai’s journey. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Management, and a Diploma in Music. His quest for knowledge continued with a Master’s degree in International Advocacy Development and another in Defence and Strategic Studies.
Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, specializing in Defence and Strategic Studies. This rare blend of social sciences, security, and strategic expertise reflects a leader well-prepared for the complexities of governance.
Beyond the classroom, Hon. Umogbai has proven himself in multiple fields. He is the CEO and Director of De Seraphic Ensemble, one of Nigeria’s largest choral groups, through which he has advanced liturgical music and inspired countless youths.
He also leads 3Ms Multi Dynamic Services Ltd., a company involved in construction, agriculture, consultancy, and oil and gas. His leadership excellence has earned him recognition as an Honorary Fellow of the Nigerian Defence Academy (Regular Course 5) and an Iconic Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Administrators of Nigeria.
What sets Hon. Umogbai apart is his quiet yet impactful philanthropy. As a foster father, he supports 34 children through a scholarship scheme, ensuring they have access to quality education. His charitable works, often carried out without media fanfare, highlight his sincerity and compassion.
A devout Catholic, he serves as a choirmaster in the Abuja Archdiocese, where his passion for liturgical music continues to uplift worship and inspire faith.
Hon. Augustine Umogbai is a family man, married to Omolade Roseline for nearly two decades, and a father of three biological children alongside the many he mentors and supports.
