JMG Limited, Nigeria’s premier provider of electro-mechanical solutions, celebrates this year’s International Youth Day (IYD), themed ” Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond,” as it delivers cutting-edge solutions to diverse clients across the country.

The global day observed annually on 12th August, and established by the United Nations General Assembly on 17 December 1999, highlights the vital role young people play in redefining multilateral diplomacy. It also brings youth issues to the attention of the international community and celebrates their potential as partners in today’s global society.

In light of this, the Group General Manager of JMG Limited, Rabi Jammal, stated that the IYD allows celebrating youths’ voices, actions, and initiatives, with a view to equitable engagement, and this underscores the company’s involvement of the age demographics in its activities, and through employment for economic and national development.

He stated that the company’s core values recognise youths as a driving force of change, innovation, and progress, and must be empowered, supported, and be inspired to engage in activities that leads to attainment of sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.

Jammal affirmed that the company constantly innovates in its offerings, spanning power generation, electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, vertical transportation, and air compressors, from power to plug, with skilled employees in the youth category, adding value to the provisioning of solutions to enhance clients’ productivity.

With advancement in technology in its operations and personnel that include mechanical, electrical/electronics, computer, and chemical engineers, and staff from other disciplines working across various functions, JMG delivers unparalleled services while driving the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs). This is on SDG 7 and 11, which hinge on affordable and clean energy, as well as sustainable cities and communities, respectively.

JMG is a leading electromechanical solutions provider in Nigeria, specializing in renewable and conventional power systems, electrical infrastructure, HVAC, elevators & escalators, and aircompression equipment. As the official Nigerian dealer for worldclass brands, our Solar Division delivers endtoend solar power services—from feasibility studies and system design through installation and maintenance—representing Deye, Must, and Longi.
