JMG’s Solution Helps Nourdm Save Over ₦21 Million Annually and Cut Maintenance Costs by 50% 2

JMG Limited, a leading provider of premium electro-mechanical solutions, has significantly enhanced the operational efficiency of Nourdm Global Company Limited  a top Nigerian manufacturer of sustainable cleaning products—through the deployment of a smart compressed air system, the Kaeser SIGMA Air Manager 4.0 (SAM 4.0), at Nourdm’s Ibadan facility in Oyo State.

With this cutting-edge solution, Nourdm saves over ₦21 million annually in energy and maintenance costs. Highlights of savings are ₦6.3 million/year saved in energy costs,  ₦15 million/year saved in maintenance and labor, 1,450 hours/year cut from compressor workload and a 32% drop in CO₂emissions.

The upgraded system includes 2 × Kaeser ASK-40 rotary screw compressors, 1 × Kaeser ASK-34 rotary screw compressor, 1 × Kaeser CSD-125T with integrated dryer and Kaeser SIGMA Air Manager 4.0, for smart and predictive control.

This configuration supports Nourdm’s growing production lines with a long-term equipment performance. With its advanced monitoring and synchronised service intervals, the system requires half the servicing it used to, reducing labour cost and downtime. With this solution, the company reduces energy consumption, enables predictive maintenance, and allows real-time remote monitoring via the Kaeser Connect platform.

“Our new SAM 4.0 system has greatly improved operational efficiency. We are scaling production while reducing costs and emissions. It is a win for our business and the environment,” a representative of Nourdm stated.

According to Rabi Jammal, Group General Manager of JMG Limited, the transformation at Nourdm is a clear example of how smart industrial automation can deliver tangible value to local manufacturers.

“Before this upgrade, Nourdm’s system required frequent, costly maintenance and consumed much energy. By deploying our Kaeser SIGMA solution, we not only improved performance and reliability but also helped them achieve significant cost savings and sustainability targets,” he said.

In addition to the money saved, the solution also helped to improve power from 6.253 to 5.991 kW/(m³/min), annual energy use dropped by 233,831 kWh, compressor runtime reduced by 1,450 hours/year, while the carbon dioxide emissions cut by 32%, from 313 tonnes to 212 tonnes per year

JMG continues to lead the way in energy and industrial automation, delivering innovative, scalable, and environmentally conscious solutions across West Africa.
