JUST IN: NLC President, Ajaero Departs Police IRT Office, hours after Questioning

President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, has left the police office in Abuja after spending about an hour and a few minutes with officials.

He had arrived at the Intelligence Response Team, IRT, command at Guzape as early as 10:20 a.m, in the company of human rights lawyer, Femi Falana.

The police authorities had invited Ajaero for questioning over alleged links to terrorism financing.

Recall that the NLC leadership had threatened to down tools if the police authorities attempted to detain him unjustly.
