The joint leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC), and Joint Negotiating Council (JNC) in Ogun State have suspended its eight-days industrial action.
Reports had it that, the strike which started on Tuesday, July 15, following what was described as years of injustice and non-compliance with the State’s Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).
The suspension comes following an agreement to constitute a Pension Fund Management Committee, a key outcome of negotiations between union leaders and the state government.
