Olumide Olofinji, professionally known as Drey Star, is a rising Afro-fusion artiste and gifted singer-songwriter hailing from Ondo State, Nigeria. He has lived most of his life in Abeokuta and Lagos as a teenager and an adult. He is the only son in a close-knit family of six and holds a degree in Animal Nutrition from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Drey Star began his musical journey professionally in 2018, after years of playing instruments and drawing inspiration from his music idols. His debut track, “GOD DEY,” marked the beginning of a vibrant catalog that includes four other releases, songwriting credits for fellow artistes, and original theme songs for brands and corporations.
His latest studio work, RELUWE, an Afro-infused love anthem, has been buzzing across the airwaves and streaming charts cementing his place as a sonic force on the rise.
