The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state has expressed shock over the news of the tragic transition of our leader, Sen. Buruji Kasamu who died of complications from Covid 19.
The painful demise of our late leader is certainly a monumental loss to our party in every sense. It is a terrible reality to the political class in Ogun state and the nation in general.
On several fronts, our party under the able leadership of Alh. Sikirulahi Ogundele is deeply pained that Sen. Kasamu left the political stage at the time when our great party is experiencing a holistic process of harmonisation which is aimed at repositioning our party for electoral success.
Our party extends heartfelt sympathy to his immediate family members, the entire Ijebu Igbo community, the entire PDP family in Ogun state. We pray that Almighty God accepts his soul and forgives his pitfalls.
