The Open Hands Amazing Charitable Organization says it is taking its ‘hope’ train to Lagos for life changing interventions for the people in and around the state.

Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Magdalene Nwaka Agada, President and Founder of the charitable organization disclosed this to newsmen on Thursday from her base in the United States.

She said the event will take place Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Saint Michael Catholic Church Demuri street KETU

The philanthropic health train is the brainchild of Dr. Mrs Nwaka Agada, with the support of Dr. Mrs Josephine Nneka Ewere, and Chief Dr. Aloysius Arinzechukwuemeka Agada, who are pillars and strong movers of the charity organisation.

Mrs Agada said that over the past five years, Open Hands Amazing Charitable Organization, US, UK and Nigeria, has put together life-changing health outreaches and interventions in various states in Nigeria.

“We had taken our train to Egede, Enugu State, Ibuzor, and Akomazi in Delta State and now we are moving to Lagos.

“We have free cleft-palate surgery made possible by this organization, and this is in addition to hospital equipment donated to health institutions and hospitals across Nigeria, in Rivers, Taraba, and Nassarawa states, amongst others.

“This time, we don’t just do medical checks or give drugs and balanced meals; we also give stipends to the most needy in the society’’.

She urged the beneficiaries to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the August philanthropic event to help in the realization of the aims and objectives of the project.

“I implore you to heed the advice of the medical professionals and take your drugs according to prescriptions,’’ she advised.

She urged the beneficiaries not to forget to pray for the continued strength and success of the donors, the Open Hands Amazing Charitable Organization, USA and UK.
