The monthly programme, SEEKING GOD’S FACE held today (Saturday) at The Apostolic Church Nigeria (LAWNA) Theological Seminary, Ayegbaju, Ilesa, Osun State was indeed a blessing, even though some would have loved to be there but the belief is that the it would also speaks for those whose mind were in the program but not physically present.

Having made us have a breakdown of what the programme is all about earlier, however, one cannot but still pass out the biblical message received from the event through His Anointed Man, Student Pastor. Theophilus Falude, with the theme; THE GLORY EXPERIENCE (EXODUS 24:16).

According to him, leader of the Israelites, Moses, had a glorious experience with God, when he went into mount sinai, and the glory of the Lord covered the mount for six days and on the seventh day, He called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

However, before Moses can experience this, he had been called by God, asking him to come over to Mount, where He wi give him tables of stones, and a law and commandments to be able to teach and direct the Israelites (Exodus 24: 12).

This experience of Moses is one of those things that made him to be special before God and even unidentifiable before the Israelites when he came back from the assignment bestowed upon him by God.

Meanwhile, as believers and followers of God, we can also experience this glorious meeting with Him, by passing through the following phases;

  1. Encounter: This simply means having a meeting with God, be informed of what you’re about doing or what you want Him (God) to do for you (Exodus 24:12).
  2. Avoid Distraction: The best way to get unified with God in our encounter with Him, is to avoid any distraction or things that may take our mind away from Him, and that’s what Moses did to avoid any distraction especially of the Israelites (Exodus 24:14).
  3. Seek the Presence of God: This is a good and best way to get God’s face and this is Moses did when he went up into the mount and the cloud covered the mount (Exodus 24:15).
  4. Have a Godly purpose: What is your focus or purpose for seeking God’s face or to have His glorious experience in you? Anything that has to deal with God must be of Godly purpose and not earthly or otherwise, Moses was asked to one unto the mount to collect tables of stones and commandments, by which he will be able to lead the Israelites (Exodus 24: 12).

Note that, the day you understand God’s manifestation in prayer, then your prayer has been answered.
