At the Lagos Edition of GITEX Nigeria 2025, Zoho Nigeria made a bold statement about its commitment to Africa’s digital transformation. Kehinde Ogundare, Country Manager for Zoho Nigeria, unveiled the company’s comprehensive suite of business applications, positioning Nigeria as the cornerstone of Zoho’s expansion strategy across the continent.
“Nigeria is the biggest market in Africa where anywhere else is better,” Ogundare declared, underscoring the country’s strategic importance. He added, “Lagos has the biggest startup hub in the world today,” pointing to the region’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Zoho’s platform offers an integrated range of cloud-based tools designed to streamline operations for businesses of all sizes, including:
- Sales Management Software • Marketing Automation Tools • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) • Business Intelligence Platforms • Productivity and Collaboration Applications
Ogundare emphasized Zoho’s mission to democratize access to technology, especially in underserved communities. “One of the challenges we have is digital literacy. A lot of people do not understand the power of technology, especially in rural areas and SME communities,” he noted.

Despite infrastructure limitations, Zoho remains optimistic. The company sees Nigeria not just as a market, but as a launchpad for global talent. “In the next 15 to 20 years, we’re gonna be expecting our talents to serve the global market,” Ogundare predicted.
He also praised Nigeria’s current government policies, describing them as “friendly to the market” and conducive to technological growth.
Zoho’s entry into Nigeria marks a significant milestone in delivering world-class software tailored to local needs. With a vision rooted in empowerment, scalability, and innovation, Zoho is setting the stage for Africa’s next wave of digital transformation.
