The authority of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), LAWNA Territory has announced the glorification of the former National Vice-President/LAWNA Territorial Chairman, Pastor (Dr) Emmanuel Segun Olasiji Awojide, who slept in the Lord on Monday, 23rd December 2024 at the age of 90 years.
Pastor. Awojide was TACN National Vice-President/5th LAWNA Territorial Chairman between 2017- 2023.
The former Chairman’s demise was made known in a circular signed by LAWNA Territorial Administrative Secretary, Pastor Moses Ogunibe and made available to all the Ministers and Saints of The Apostolic Church LAWNA Territory.
According to the details of the circular which in read in parts: ”As directed by the Authority of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), LAWNA Territory, I hereby convey to you, though with a heavy heart, the passing into glory of our dearly beloved father, late Pastor Emmanuel Segun Olasiji Awojide, former National Vice President TACN and LAWNA Territorial Chairman, who slept in the Lord on Monday, 23rd December, 2024 at the age of Ninety (90) years.’
”This news came formally on 26 December, 2024 through Elder Michael Ayodele Awojide. However, it was received with gratitude to God for a life of fruitful service to God and humanity spent by our late Father in the Lord.
”In this regard, I am further directed to express our sympathy and condolences to you all for this physical loss of our dear Father and pray that the Head of the Church Himself, our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ will console and edify His church and grant us all the fortitude to bear the irreparable physical and social loss.”
It would be recalled that late Pastor Awojide retired in 2023 following an illustrious ministry spanning over 60 years with The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Territory.
