Pastor Sams Olubiyi, the Area Superintendent of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), Obantoko Area, has stressed the importance of Christians being a dependable follower of Jesus Christ, and not just a believer without a particular purpose to fulfill on earth.
He, also added that the real man of a particular person is inside the body and not outside, which is just a figure or emblem of whom the person is all about.
Pastor Olubiyi, made this known in his short exhortation, with the theme, “THE DEPENDABLE CHRISTIAN”, during the First Area Combined Service of the Area, held at the TACN Obantoko Area Headquarter, on Sunday, at Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to the Area Superintendent, the real human being cannot be stopped but through monitoring, such person can be determined.
“The real man is inside the body, but the body is just a figure or emblem of the person, or the name. However, the real person is embedded in the body, and this cannot be stopped, rather through strict observation and monitoring of the person, in which he can be determined.
“Having titles, appellations, ranks are just mere honours of an individual, but the real person is what really matters, are you a dependable Christian?”, he asked.
Pastor Olubiyi, while urging believers on their particular purpose on earth, also encouraged them to ensure that they fulfill their specific purposes they have been created for.
“None of us is a passerby on this earth, rather everyone of us here have a particular purpose to fulfill on this earth, so without fulfilling this purpose on earth, then you are not a dependable Christian.
“Being in Obantoko Area as a family is for purpose and not just to play-around, so therefore, one must be a dependable Christian, as our being here is for a divine reason”, he added.
Meanwhile, while admonishing believers on how to live a fulfilled life, Pastor Olubiyi said, “If you want to live fulfill in life, then you must rely on the Master (God), because you cannot do it on your own or with your own power”.
