An unknown source of fire has reportedly gutted a section of the Kastina State Government House in Kastina, in the early hours of Monday morning. The Canadian-Nigerian woman, Amaka Sonnberger, accused of allegedly making hate-motivated threats against the indigenous peoples of Yoruba and Benin in Nigeria, has been arrested by the Toronto Police and scheduled to appear in court on Monday, September 2, 2024. Six people were confirmed to have died, while three others injured in an auto accident involving a Sienna bus and unmarked truck, at the Ogere corridor of Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
