A truck filled with sand on Friday, has somersaulted along the Abeokuta/Ibadan Express road, hereby leaving no lives lost and injured.
The accident occurred around 2:30pm in Kotopo, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
The truck with registration number, AA 367- WDE, according to eyewitness was said to be coming from the Camp axis, on a speed, and until when the driver discovered that the brake has loose its control and swerved off the road.
According to the truck driver, who spoke under anonymity, said that when he was going straight, until he has discovered that the brake has failed, and all means to stop it, were all futile, made him decide to turned to the other side, thereby hitting a block by the road side and it somersaulted.
However, there were only two people in the truck and no lives were lost.
Meanwhile, efforts to lift up the affected truck is currently ongoing.
